There are so many distractions that make it difficult to get the most important tasks completed, but with a little planning you can at least the most important things done.
Here are 3 simple and easy tips that might help:
1) Take a few hours a week to write a list of things you must get done for the monthly or quarterly, and break them down into smaller weekly to-do lists.
2) Complete tasks in batches. Schedule a few hours a day or week where you only job is to get those specific tasks completed. This helps you maximize your time, increase your productivity and reduce distractions.
3) Once you've compiled your list, get your support system (family, friends, colleagues, etc.)on board with your plan. Let them know what you have planned for the day/week/week so they know which days/times you're not available for distractions. This helps keep everyone accountable and minimizes lost productivity hours.
